Over the Weekend and past Monday

This passed Sunday, I went to church as usual but with a difference. A lady friend by the name of Elda Marie joined with me and her sister Rose Marie up from Reno, NV. We all had a wonderful brunch over at the Poppy Seed Cafe in Fircrest.
Om Monday morning, I returned to volunteering at Madigan Army hospital. I started out the day by helping with the new voluteering Orientation and then had a quick meeting withe Public Affairs Officer, Sharon Alaya. We discussed any new or current activities that the information desk personnel might be interested in knowing. I then started my tour of duty at the Information desk in the Medical mall. It was a very, very busy day with lots of people going into the pharmacy. I was glad to get off my feet when I got home. My friend, Dorothy Gannon had made a new recipe and she gave me some to take home for dinner
