Catch Up Time For the Month of March

On March 13th, I met my nephew in Auburn for a rodeo fund raiser for "Young Life" organization. We had a wonderful catered dinner. The food was very good and the entertainment was very funny. Jack introduced me to two young men that he had counselled when they where in his school. They later went up on the stage and gave a little of their previous lives before coming to the Northwest. One lauded Jack for his inspiration and guidance. All in all, it was a nice night out with my nephew.
My son Mark came in from Hawaii via Portland OR and then on Sunday came up to Tacoma via the AMtrac train. I had to go out to my volunteer job because we were having an orientation for new volunteers at Madigan hospital. I was the only one availble to do this so Mark had to sleep in. I also arranged for Mark to use a guest pass at the local Bally Gym. The following day was just beautiful, so we went to the Tacoma Zoo. We had a good time togehter taking pictures with my new camcorder. It was just great being able to go and do this with my son. I only wish he and his family didn't live so far away. We also went and bought some clothes. We both bought the same summer sports coat that were on sale except for the size. When Mark returned to Hawaii, he called and said they had given him mine and likewise. I will put his in the mail this afternoon. It will not get to Hawaii in time for Easter, but he will have it to wear for some other occasion. It was just great having him here. I may just get on a plane and go out to Hawaii. I will look at my schedule.
March 20th, I went out to Spanaway to see and hold my Greatgrand daughter Sasha. She has really grown and has beautiful blue eyes. Mollianne said that the doctor is quite convinced that she will keep them. It was a short stay as they where getting packed to go on vacation in eastern Washington. I will post pictures as they become available.
Happy Easter to all.
