Arrived in late morning at my nephew's beautiful house in Duvall, WA. I was met at the door by my grand niece Emmaline, followed closely my my grand nephew John.
I was also introduced to nephew Jack's friend Dave and his two little girls. Well you my ask where is Jacks wife Bridget. She and few other girl friends, Dave's wife also, where off camping without their respective children and husbands, just having wives weekend out.
Jack and I viewed the Memorial service for his father Richard Madigan back in Colorado and toasted him with a shot of pure Irish whiskey. Very emotional for me as I know Dick for many wonderful years.
Jack taught me how to play Bacca balls. He cheated because he knew how to play the game. I am going to see if I can find the bacca balls around locally.
Jack cooked up a wonderful dinner of steak, twice cooked baked potatoes and grill asparagus with a white sauce for the steak. It was all delicious and very rich. My stomach did not see this dinner coming.
I had to drive home in the dark and had several police cars whiz by me. Something was going on in Carnation, WA.
I arrived home safely with a feeling of joy after such a nice day. Thank God
